Leaves stain
October rain
Fog shrouds the storm
Rose's thorn
Grief is borne
Mementos and memories
Polaroid's and lucky pennies
Smile and kindness whispers
The ache blisters
Burnt orange, golden ticket yellow and green leaves
An echo of summer's sheaves
Hope cleaves
Shadows murmur a heavenly scene
A sunflower angel walks unseen
Empty hallways and laughter lay bare
Tears stain
Until we meet again.
